Dorothy Parker once said...
...the two most beautiful words in the English language were check enclosed. I won't argue with that, but a close second would have to be THE END for a writer. Just finished writing Midnight Passions for the upcoming Phaze anthology Midnight Treasures. This is a collaboration of four Phazettes: me, Devi Sparks, Mae Powers, and Ann Regentin, featuring four novellas with a midnight theme. Midnight Passions is a short about a divorcee who discovers her landlord's unusual book collection, one in particular that stirs up her own passions! I'm happy to have finished it, but I imagine it will require some edits.
Stacey King has already designed the cover, seen to the right. I know Mae has finished her contribution, and Ann is almost finished. Haven't heard from Devi, but I don't expect to hear from anybody since they're all at the RT conference. Wish I could have gone this year, but lack of funds didn't allow it. 2006 is in Daytona, though, and I am definitely going!
